1. Who we are
Vibe Sensei is operated by Vibe Sensei LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Our website is vibesensei.ai.

2. Data we collect
We collect two narrow categories of data:
a) Account & authentication data
When you create an account or subscribe, we collect your email address, hashed password, and subscription status. This is required to provision and verify your license. We do not collect your name, phone number, or physical address.
b) Product analytics — aggregate counts and flags only
We collect anonymous, aggregate usage signals: which features are activated (boolean flags), how often core actions are performed (integer counts), and broad session metadata (app version, OS type, locale). We do not collect: source code, prompts, file names, agent output, voice recordings, or any content you produce. We do not collect: names, addresses, or any personally identifiable information beyond your email.
Analytics are used exclusively to improve the product — to understand which features are used and prioritize roadmap decisions.
3. How we use your data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- Authenticating your account and verifying subscription status
- Processing payments and managing billing (via our payment processor)
- Sending transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
- Improving the product through aggregate usage analytics
- Responding to your support requests
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We share limited data with the following categories of third-party service providers, solely as required to operate the service:
Payment processor — Stripe
When you subscribe, your payment details are processed by Stripe, Inc.We do not store your card number or full payment data. Stripe receives your email address and billing information to fulfill the transaction. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Product analytics — PostHog
Aggregate, non-personal usage events (feature flags, action counts, app metadata) are sent to PostHog, Inc.No code, content, or PII is included in these events. PostHog's privacy policy is at posthog.com/privacy.
We may also disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the security and integrity of the service.
5. Data retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your account. If you delete your account, your email and subscription record are removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes, which we retain for 7 years).
Aggregate analytics data is retained indefinitely, but it contains no personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to an individual.
6. Security
We apply industry-standard practices to protect account data: passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage; API communication is encrypted in transit via TLS; access to production databases is restricted to authorized personnel.
Because the Vibe Sensei desktop application runs entirely on your local machine, your code, prompts, and voice audio are never transmitted to our infrastructure.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@vibesensei.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Messaging integrations (Slack, and similar)
What connecting Slack does
If you connect a Slack workspace to Vibe Sensei, we store a per-workspace connection record and an encrypted Slack bot token (AES-256-GCM, encrypted at rest, never exposed to your desktop app or to any AI agent). We also store the workspace and channel you select and non-secret settings.
What we read
The Slack bot reads a message only when it is explicitly addressed — when you @mention it or use its slash command, or in a channel you invite it to. When you use the in-app channel panel, we read that channel's recent messages on demand to display them to you. We do not passively collect or archive your Slack messages.
What we do with it
Messages you direct to the bot (and any attachments) are relayed to your own Vibe Sensei desktop app, where your AI agents act on them; the agents' replies are posted back to your Slack channel. We do not store the relayed message text, we do not log message content (our logs contain only identifiers and outcomes), and we do not use your Slack content to train any AI model.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your Slack data. The only third parties involved in operating the service are our infrastructure host (Railway) and our payment processor (Stripe); neither receives your Slack message content.
Retention & deletion
You can disconnect Slack at any time from the desktop app (Settings → Slack → Disconnect), or by removing the app from your Slack workspace's Manage Apps page. Disconnecting removes the connection and stops all access. You may also request deletion of any integration data by emailing privacy@vibesensei.ai; we complete deletion requests within 30 days.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will notify you by email.
